Göknil Gümüş Sungurtekin and Fatih Sungurtekin's Art for Good Project

Art For Good Project, founded by Artist Göknil Gümüş Sungurtekin and Artist Fatih Sungurtekin, aiming to do good with art, is an art project that these artists created together about a year ago after realizing that they use art for benefit and goodness. Since 2002, the artists have participated in charity auctions for the culture and arts center, education, etc. in the earthquake zone in 1999. Later, they provided income to poor women and they have participated in exhibitions for micro-credits aimed at their participation in production. The artist couple supported charity campaigns for nature, such as tree planting campaigns of associations, with their paintings. They carried out artistic works to support the girls in the east to go to school and education equality. Again, in order to support education, they provided free art education to talented young people in their own workshops. They donated works of art in campaigns carried out in the field of health, in online exhibitions and in charity auctions to support the children of healthcare workers, especially those who died due to Covid 19. Based on the idea that access to clean water is the right of all humanity, they participated in campaigns with their artistic income to support the drilling of water wells in order to ensure that mothers and children have access to clean water in Africa. Again, in Africa, they participated in many social goodness campaigns such as supporting an orphanage, garden repair, classroom and dormitory construction campaigns so that children can lead a happier and more comfortable life and receive education, and the income they get from the sales of works of art is donated to many associations, especially Unicef, Idea Universal. They also donated to social welfare organizations such as Universal. Most recently, by supporting IDEA Universal' s Smart Village project in Africa, they are still supporting campaigns and projects to meet the clean water and electricity needs of many people and families.
