Naval Painter Göknil Gümüş Private Exhibition Göknil Gümüş Sungurtekin won the Navy Artist Award in the Turkish Naval Forces competition in 2004. She won the first prize in the 8th Traditional “Sea” Navy Painting Contest with which she participated, and the special “Navy Painter” title. Between 2004-2007, she made 30 paintings for this project as the Navy Painter için for the Turkish Navy. All the works of art produced by Navy artist Göknil Gümüş Sungurtekin are exhibited permanently in Turkish Navy halls, museums and archives. Goknil Gumus Sungurtekin is the first Turkish Woman Navy Artist.
