Art For Good Project

Art For Good Project is a collaborative initiative founded by artists Göknil Gümüş Sungurtekin and Fatih Sungurtekin, grounded in the belief that art can serve as a transformative force for social good.

Since 2002, their artistic practice has consistently intersected with philanthropic engagement, including charity auctions and exhibitions supporting culture, education, and post-disaster recovery efforts following the 1999 earthquake in Türkiye.

Their work has extended to empowering women through micro-credit initiatives, supporting girls’ access to education, and providing free art education to emerging talents. They have also contributed to environmental causes, including reforestation projects.

In the field of health and social welfare, they have participated in international charity exhibitions, donating artworks to support healthcare workers’ families and children affected during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Committed to global humanitarian causes, they have supported access to clean water in Africa through water well projects, as well as educational and community-based initiatives such as orphanage support and infrastructure development.

They continue to collaborate with organizations such as UNICEF and IDEA Universal, most recently contributing to the Smart Village project, supporting sustainable access to water and electricity.

Art For Good Project reflects an ongoing commitment to integrating artistic practice with social responsibility and collective well-being.

SLAND AND MAN SERIES She tried make a connection to F. Nietzsche and between his life and essence, the island and loneliness. In the first picture of the series, she empathized with Nietzsche's mood of self-discovery. The second picture of the series, she thought, had returned to him, calming his mood. This makes the exterior images look more calm. In the third picture she interprets the myth how Nietzcshe to lose him mind by hugging a horse in the myth but on her painting is Nietzsche finding his own essence that resembles a horse on an island This artwork' s income was donated to Savingnil for the treatment of Baby Nil (Nil Güleç) by Göknil Gümüş Sungurtekin. https://www.savingnil.com/collections/resimler/products/goknil-gumus-sungurtekin-ada-ve-adam Art For Good Project
