"Navy Painter and Naval Painter" Award-winning painting. In the painting competition organized by the Naval Forces Command, Master Painter Göknil Gümüş Sungurtekin was deemed worthy of the Navy Painter and Naval Artist awards and became the "First Turkish Female Naval Painter and Navy Artist" in 2004.
Naval Painter Göknil Gümüş Sungurtekin Göknil Güm üş Sungurtekin was awarded the 1st prize in the 8th Traditional "Sea" Painting Competition in Navy museum in İstanbul in 2004. She won the Navy Painter and Naval Artist Awards . She received the title of "Naval Painter" from the Commander of the Naval Forces Özden Örnek. Göknil Gümüş Sungurtekin, who received the title of Naval Painter, Navy Artist and Honorary Major, became the "First Turkish Female Navy Artist and Naval Painter ".
